Senior Executive, General Affairs & Corporate Planning, Coporate
Job Description
Department: Corporate
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Executive General Affairs & Corporate Planning within our Corporate Division. We're seeking driven and ambitious individuals eager to grow their careers alongside seasoned professionals.
Key responsibilities
Performance Management
• Support departmental teams in understanding their roles and ensure their efforts align with the overall organizational strategy and objectives
• Assist in organizing and preparing reviews for the group's strategic plan and scorecard, including analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and setting performance targets
• Monitor the progress of key corporate initiatives and KPIs, providing reports and analysis to track business performance against targets
• Assist in verifying group time sheet data via the Tracking Time system to ensure data accuracy
Regulatory Compliance
• Establish and manage the internal framework to implement and monitor adherence to internal regulations, laws, and relevant industry standards.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Plan, develop, and facilitate training sessions for employees on internal controls, governance, and regulatory compliance matters
Organizational Planning
• Facilitate the development of organization's goals, strategies and work plan in alignment with management directives
• Lead the annual planning process for company-wide initiatives and corporate events (e.g., "Know Your Colleagues" initiatives)
• Initiate the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Business Continuity Planning (BCP), covering workplace safety, fire safety, and safe management practices
• Prepare presentations on corporate strategy development, annual work plans, and budget
Operations
• Provide secretariat support by taking meeting minutes and coordinating meetings and discussions
• Manage travel arrangements together with Admin colleague
Strategic and Ad Hoc Projects
• Assists in managing or leading departmental level or organizational wide projects assigned, working in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Requirement
To qualify for the role:
• Possess a Degree in any discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in strategy and planning,including policy formulation, work planning and performance management.
• Experience in the Professional Services industry would be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and possess data extraction and mining capabilities
• Proficiency in Japanese would be an added advantage for liaising with and providing consultation to Japanese clients both in Japan and at the Japan headquarters
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated, proactive, confident, enthusiastic and team player

Senior Accounts Executive, Commercial Accounting

Department: Commercial Accounting

Key responsibilities
• Handle full sets of accounts for clients.• Provide professional client service and ensure reporting timelines are met.
• Set up charts of accounts for new accounting clients.
• Record receipts and payments in accounting software.
• Prepare month-end payments and online banking transactions.
• Responsible for mentoring, guiding, and reviewing junior team member's work.
• Responsible for month-end closing process and preparation of monthly financial report for management purposes.
• Prepare GST report and filing.
• Update cashflow report.
• Audit liaison and drafting of financial statements.
• Preparation of XBRL submission.
• Compute monthly payroll and year-end remuneration returns. (e.g., Form IR8A)
• Liaise with banks for the opening and closing of clients' bank accounts.
• Other related accounting assignments as assigned.
Requirement

• Possess a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimium 3 years of relevant working experiences in handling full set of accounts preferred
• Experience in professional firms is an added advantage
